How to Make Easter Egg Donuts

Spring has officially sprung, which means that Easter is right around the corner!

Consider adding these cute Easter Egg Donuts to the menu. They're super easy to make (especially if you use store-bought donuts like we did), easy on the wallet and sure to be a show stopper!

All items were just under $15 total.

Note: You'll need at least 2 small boxes/bags of candies to make a dozen donuts.

First, place a generous amount of sweetened shredded coconut flakes in a bowl.

Next, slowly add drops of green food coloring to the coconut flakes.

Stir the coconut flakes and food coloring to blend.

Note: You may need to add more food coloring.

Continue stirring until all of the flakes are colored green.

Generously place the coconut flakes in the center of the donuts.

Top with pastel colored egg candies. We used Reese's Pieces Eggs, but any easter egg candies will do.

And voila! Happy Easter!
